Portree itself is well served by regular direct buses from both Glasgow (via Fort William) and Inverness. From Portree, Flodigarry is served by the 57A bus service. [CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION]
The nearest train station is Kyle of Lochalsh, which is situated next to the Skye Bridge, where the trains run to and from Inverness. From here you can catch a regular bus service to Portree. Trains from Glasgow and Fort William also run to Mallaig, from where you can catch the ferry to Armadale on the southern peninsula of Skye.
