DIRECTIONS
We are situated in northern Skye, 4 miles north of Staffin, and 20 miles north of the island capital, Portree. Please take the A855 Portree to Staffin road to arrive at our location.
You can arrive on the island by road or sea. The Skye Bridge is the fastest way at any time but Calmac run ferries into Armadale at the south of the island and also Uig in the North.
Portree itself is well served by regular direct buses from both Glasgow (via Fort William) and Inverness. From Portree, Flodigarry is served by the 57A bus service.
The nearest train station is Kyle of Lochalsh, which is situated next to the Skye Bridge, where the trains run to and from Inverness. From here you can catch a regular bus service to Portree. Trains from Glasgow and Fort William also run to Mallaig, from where you can catch the ferry to Armadale on the southern peninsula of Skye. From Armadale, a bus service runs to Portree, where an onward bus can be caught to Flodigarry.
A small ferry also runs from Glenelg to Kylerhea, which is the last manually operated turntable ferry in the world.
